The JS-SSKH Series represents JAST Power’s advanced thyristor-diode hybrid modules, engineered for semi-controlled power conversion applications:

JS-SSKH Standard Series (Single Thyristor-Diode Pair)

Configuration: Each module contains one thyristor and one diode in anti-parallel connection, creating a semi-controlled switch that allows:

  • Controlled Turn-On: The thyristor provides gate-controlled switching for precise power control.
  • Natural Freewheeling: The anti-parallel diode provides a natural current path during the negative half-cycle.
  • Reduced Harmonics: The combination reduces harmonic content compared to fully-controlled solutions.
  • Cost-Effective Control: Fewer gate drivers required compared to full thyristor bridges.
